Nick is a creative, a programmer, and a roboticist. He holds a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and, since 2015, has helped to lead robotics research and strategy at Autodesk. His work explores the harmony of designs, tools, and techniques; has been featured at Autodesk University, RobArch, and ACADIA; and includes closed-loop robotic wire-arc additive processes, open-source animation software for robots used in film, parametric software workflows for digital fabrication, and adaptive robotic construction systems for wood structures. He lives in San Francisco and spends his free time playing synth.
